A Biblical Wife is Not a Doormat

I’m not sure where people get the idea that a wife is designed to be trampled on by her husband, either physically or emotionally. But, unfortunately, some husbands do this because we live in a broken and fallen world where sin abounds.

Self-centered, tyrant husbands abuse their headship position in marriage when they treat their wives harshly. The next thing you know a wife feels like a doormat. Not good, people. Not good. The Gospel message is blasphemed when this takes place in a Christian marriage. Wife, don’t let this be you. If it is, listen to this podcast.

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25 NLT
