I’m thrilled to have my fellow blogging friend, J from Hot, Holy & Humorous sharing here today. J is one of my favorite Christian sex bloggers and one of the reasons why I like her SO much is because she writes on physical intimacy from a biblical perspective. And she’s direct. Hmm, she loves Jesus and she’s blunt? Well, I do believe we’re like two peas in a pod! J discusses issues many wives need and want to hear in regards to the marriage bed because let’s face the facts…sex can get complicated. Of course, I’m speaking from first hand experience.
Recently, J wrote a devotional for sexual intimacy and when I found out about it I knew this book would greatly benefit the wives in my community. So, I decided to invite J here to my on-line home so she can share a bit of her book with you!
So, without further ado, here’s J telling us about her devotional…
What does the Bible say about sexual intimacy?
Quite a lot actually. From marriage-specific scriptures to biblical principles, Intimacy Revealed: 52 Devotions to Enhance Sex in Marriage guides Christian wives through weekly devotions that shed light on God’s gift of marital sex.
Each week includes a Bible passage, application, questions, and a prayer. These short devotions will deepen your understanding of God’s design of sexuality and encourage you toward a holier, happier, and hotter marriage.
Grab a copy of this book and I’m sure your marriage will thrive as a result of reading this gem! Also, she’s got another great book- Sex Savvy: A Lovemaking Guide for Christian Wives. If you’re a newlywed (or know someone who will be) or if you need a little more help and guidance in the marriage bed, grab this book too!
J. Parker is the author of Sex Savvy: A Lovemaking Guide for Christian Wives. She also writes the Hot, Holy & Humorous blog, where she uses a biblical perspective and blunt sense of humor to foster Christian sexuality in marriage. You can read more of her thoughts at www.hotholyhumorous.com.
