Episode Title: Practical Ways to Respect Your Husband
Anchor Verse: “However, each man among you [without exception] is to love his wife as his very own self [with behavior worthy of respect and esteem, always seeking the best for her with an attitude of lovingkindness], and the wife [must see to it] that she respects and delights in her husband [that she notices him and prefers him and treats him with loving concern, treasuring him, honoring him, and holding him dear].” — Ephesians 5:33 (AMP)
What is respect? Respect is a feeling or understanding that someone or something is important, deserves serious attention, or has value, often shown through consideration, esteem, or deference toward their worth, position, rights, or wishes. In a marriage, respect is distinguished from mere agreement. It’s less about thinking he’s always right and more about how you treat him while you disagree.
In this episode:
- Why respect and being right often get confused
- Practical ways to show respect in words, actions, conflict, and daily life
- What disrespect looks like in the middle of a disagreement, even when you’re right
- How to hold your position without dismissing your husband
Live a poured-out life for Christ,
