Here are a few letters of lives that are being touched by this ministry…
But first, if you’re new here, I just want you to know this ministry does not belong to me. It belongs to the Lord. I just show up and write, but it is my Savior’s words that are spread out over this screen. I am but a mere vessel pouring out my life for my King and my God. My heart is for you to not see me but for you to only see my Savior. May He receive ALL the glory and may many lives be touched by the Master’s Hands.
“He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30
Hi Jolene –
Jolene,
I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for allowing God to use you and be a willing vessel. I have learned some much from this blog. There have many days and nights that I didn’t know if what I thought and felt as a wife, mother, and woman was “normal” for a Christian woman. Post after post has been an enlightening invitation to grow my faith, to not be ashamed of my past or present, and to learn more about the nature of God. I literally check this blog EVERYDAY to see what else is shared. Thank you for being open about life’s struggles. We all have them and I am not sure if it’s pride or something else that holds us back from speaking about and dealing with them. Thank you for giving scripture based advice and counsel to countless women. God has blessed you with a gift. Continue to use it and know that through you God is touching lives around the world. I am praying for you as you continue in this legacy leaving ministry. May you be encouraged and strengthen to guide others closer to our Abba Father. ~Jessica G.
Jolene,
I read all of your posts, and truly appreciate everything you write! Your words have spoken more truth in my life than a lot of other resources I’ve read! So, thank you! Vanessa Malone
Dear Jolene,
Your story and your ministry are such a blessing. Thank you for being so open about your life…it helps me trust in God’s promises that He has plans for me. ~Your friend in Christ, Sherri A.
Jolene,
With your advice, I started hanging out with my husband. We have a great time together. In the past we would go our separate way running errands and such. He actually did not believe me when I told him I wanted to go with him to the lawnmower repair shop. He asked, “why”? I told him it’s a great way to spend time together. It took several more times for him to actually accept and believe that I wanted to hang out WITH HIM. Now we are intentional in being together. I now purposely let him know what I’m going to work on or go on an errand; next thing I know he is going with me or working with me on a project. IT’S MARVELOUS!
I will continue to read your blog and thank you so much for responding to my email and giving excellent advice. God has truly bestowed a gift on you. I know that the Father led me to your site.
~Mary Rose J.
Dear Jolene,
Today I found your blog by Pinterest. I’m an 18-year-old girl from the Netherlands. I’m not sure why I emailed you. I just felt I had to. Thank you so much for your blog, for the way you follow God and let Him lead you! For the way you respect your husband and share that with us. Thank you for everything. I am grateful to God for you. May God bless you, my sister. ~With love, Annelie
I so appreciate the gift of your ministry to the hearts of women (and families). What a blessing. Thank you so much Jolene 🙂 ~Rebekah
Jolene,
Thank you for all your words of wisdom! I just love reading your blog all week and your words of advice have changed me this past year for the better and helped me to be a better wife! ~Jenny
Jolene,
I have been reading post after post on your blog, and I just wanted to say thank you for your strength in Christ, and your wisdom to write, so that those of us who read are touched and inspired to be more Christ-like. Your are a gift, and I am blessed to have stumbled across your blog, especially during this new found chaos in my life called dating! ~Shayne from Texas
Dear Jolene,
I found out about your blog from the FB Pinterest pin that went viral. I have been reading since then and it is a blessing! We know why Satan is fighting you so hard. He hates submission of any kind. Women, Christian women, need this truthful, Biblical message. It could change our nation if women took this seriously. Thank you for taking a stand. I love your honest, unself-righteous style! ~Sincerely, Andrea W.
Dear Jolene,
I’ll be short n sweet. Just celebrated my 10 year anniversary with my elementary school sweetheart (*yup; crazy:). Three kids later with an extremely busy life your blog is ministering to me immensely. I’ve been praying for weeks for some type of book or something to supplement my bible reading and to bring change to me/my marriage. I’ve found it!!! Thank you for your honesty and for using scripture to teach women how to live!!! May God bless you richly. ~Sincerely, Alicia A.
Dear Jolene,
Precious sister-in-Christ that I should extend to you my heartfelt gratitude to our Savior and LORD whom we serve for you and the ministry He has given you. I had been studying Nancy Lee DeMoss’ True Woman 101 series, but due to my circumstances, I felt the studies was working against my spiritual nourishment instead of transforming my life. Don’t get me wrong, it is a wonderful, doctrinal study, but I could not identify my life and purpose with it. I cried out to God several times, but remained in the study trusting He would do so. One day, the LORD inspired in me to Google reversed marital roles and He lead me to your blog. GOD has used your blog to transform my attitude and I am more joyful! When I begin to feel my old attitudes coming back, I turn to your blog or I watch one or more of your videos and I don’t feel alone anymore. The LORD has blessed you despite what you have experienced (yes, I read your biography!). I encourage you to continue your writing on your blog and your ministry. The LORD is using it to bless others, especially me! I am a Christian sister, a more devoted wife, online college student (at 53!), and a Christian writer who works full-time at a nursing home. Thank you for allowing God to use your life experiences as a blessing and keep pouring your life out to Him. ~Nancy R.
Hi Jolene,
First let me say… WOW! You are an amazing woman… an inspiration! I feel that when I read your posts, I’m reading the words off my own heart’s walls! Again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the work you do… I am so grateful for the work you do. God Bless! ~Maria
Beautiful Jolene!
I wanted to thank you for your amazing site! During my quiet times lately, I feel like the Lord is impressing on my heart to have alabaster jar love. So, I googled alabaster jar and your site was the first that showed up. What a GREAT ministry you have! And I have to tell you… I can’t wait for my 10 year old daughter to wake up because she and I will have a date at the Dollar Tree so we can make my husband those Sharpie mugs!
I’m not a social media girl, but I wanted to give you a quick shout out 🙂 Thank you for multiplying your talents! May God open the floodgates from heaven for you! You have brought your whole heart’s tithe to His storehouse (Malachi 3). May you not have enough room to contain His blessings. With deep gratitude, ~noelle
