Thank you for the recommendations! Recently, I’ve really been blessed by reading The Fruit of Her Hands by Nancy Wilson, Love to Eat Hate to Eat by Elyse Fitzpatrick & Captivating by John and Staci Eldredge. It isn’t really a wifey book, but Tim Chester’s book, A Meal with Jesus, had some wonderful insights regarding how I think about food and how I am to present it to my family. 🙂
Loved Nancy Wilson’s book! Haven’t read the others. Thanks for sharing them here!
Loved your pin boards and followed! Conversely, do you have recommendations for books on growing into a Godly husband? Together Hubby and I are looking for Wife-Husband books and could use some recommendations.
Oh, I will have to think about that! If I can come up with some, I’ll create a board on Pinterest called, Books for a Christian Marriage. I know Cynthia Heald’s husband wrote a book/study for husbands and I believe Jim George, Elizabeth’s husband has written some for the men as well.
Thank you for these resources! My husband and I divorced in 2009 and are now working to reconcile. I honestly never had any idea how to become a Godly wife and have only recently realized that our problems came from our failure to put God first. I recently read “The Surrendered Wife” and it has completely changed the way I view my role in our relationship – I’m constantly on the lookout for more to read!
