Should You Marry Someone You Don’t Trust?

There was no chance this side of heaven that I would have married Eric if I didn’t trust him. If he lacked integrity while we were dating, then there was a good chance he’d lack the same integrity while married. Just because you put on fancy clothes, exchange rings, and say your vows, does not mean a person’s character will change once they are married.

But you love him… I get it. I hear this response from single women quite often. Our mindset is clouded by our strong emotions, emotions that are sometimes wrong. The question one has to ask themselves is this:

Does this person have the type of character I’m looking for in a lifelong spouse?
