The 4 Actions & Attitudes Godly Couples Should Pursue… but most don’t

God doesn’t leave a couple clueless on how to have a thriving marriage. The Bible spells out clear commands on how a husband and wife should treat each other and today I’ll be addressing four of them. The question we have to ask ourselves is, “Are we going to be doers of the Word or mere hearers of it?”

The child of God must be completely obedient to the Word of the Lord. The driver on the highway is safe, not when he reads the signs; but when he obeys them. -A.W. Tozer

It’s always easier to place a higher importance on our feelings rather than on the scriptures, but the Word of God must be the authority on which we base our actions and attitudes as a couple if we want a marriage marked by love, forgiveness, and acceptance. If we want a healthy family, it starts with a healthy marriage.

Ultimately, the Bible must become our marital compass so let’s be wives who lean on God’s wisdom instead of our own.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight”. 2 Corinthians 5:7
