Top 10 Christ-Centered Marriage Posts of the Year

Recapping this past year, my posts on marriage always brought the most traffic.  Some of these posts you’ll find here on JoleneEngle.com.  In either case, I’m the writer. 🙂 (I’ll update you soon about the future plans I have for Christian Wife University.)

1.Why Christian Women Are Drawn to 50 Shades of Grey

I was completely surprised to find that this was the number one marriage post of the year.  My heart sank when I saw the stats.  Hopefully, the ministry here will draw wives closer to the Lord and to their husbands.

2.1o Things that are God’s Will for Marriage

Need some marital goals for the coming year?  This list will give you some good ideas.

3.The 8 C’s that Will Destroy Any Marriage

Perhaps you can identify with some of the C’s I have listed?  If so, no worries!  I’ve also included ways to combat these little snares that are so common to marriage.

4.The One Question Couples Should Ask Each Other Everyday

This post will help you to connect emotionally with your man.

5.The One Reason Why It’s So Hard for Wives to Respect their Husbands

Learning to speak our husband’s native language (respecting him) does not come natural to us on a regular basis.  Respecting him is a choice.  By giving you the ‘why’ perhaps this pursuit will make respecting him a bit easier?

6.If You’re Not a Wife with a Strong Personality don’t Bother Reading This

A meek wife is not a weak wife! This was a fun post for me to write.  Hopefully it will dispel some myths you’ve been holding on to?

7.What Kind of Wife Do You Want to Be? 7 Virtues a Christ-Centered Wife Should Pursue

A person is either growing or they’re stagnant.  Which type of wife do you want to be?  Which path will cause your marriage to either thrive or die?

8.How a Wife Can Confront Her Husband’s Sin & Idols

Ah yes, a sticky issue in marriage.  Yet, a reality.  This post is from my podcast.

(In case you’re wondering, yes, my podcast has been on hold because we’ve had issues! Issues with lack of time for Eric and I to sit down and do them.  And technical issues from iTunes.  In fact, it’s been a big fat headache dealing with them.  My favorite part of the ministry here is answering your questions but we didn’t have a solution yet to our problems.  But after much prayer, we now have answers!  We’ll be back to podcasting in the coming year, so hold tight.

9.How to Switch Gears from Mom to Wife

Putting on the wife hat is so essential to a thriving marriage.  Learn how and why to make the switch!

10.How to Find Peace as a Wife when Facing Financial Storms

Yes, it’s possible to be full of peace even when your bank account is empty.  Not easy.  But possible!
