Websites for Christian Husbands/Men
I have been asked by several wives if I can recommend websites that are similar to mine, but one for husbands instead. Now I’ve got tell you, friend, many of the Christian sites I found focused almost solely on sex, and while I deem that to be a pretty important message in marriage, it’s not the only issue a husband and wife need to grow in or work though.
Anyways, what I’ve found and listed here is for your guy. I think these sites will definitely help and encourage him in his walk with the Lord, as well as in his marriage and family life.
Also, let me give a quick open note to husbands/men because I know some of you read my blog and you even send me emails seeking advice.
Dear husband/brother in the Lord,
As a sister in Christ, I would love to help you out, but my call from my Lord is to write to women. In fact, it’s a biblical mandate that I embrace. (Titus 2:3,4) Along these lines, the Scriptures do not permit me to teach men. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 1 Tim. 2:12 It’s impossible for me to give you advice on your marriage without me pointing you to the Word of God. Now some may say this verse is outdated or I’ve taken it out of context, well, here’s my response…
Thank you for your opinion but I’m sticking to my conviction. 🙂 Now, I realize I’ve embraced a viewpoint that in not popular in our society, however, I don’t care. I’m more concerned with following the Word of God, then following our culture.
