Becoming a Christ-Centered Wife Series
Today I’m starting a new series called, Becoming a Christ-Centered Wife! Well, actually, the series already started earlier this week when I wrote about The Content Wife. Wait. What? Don’t think you missed something, because you didn’t. Let me explain…
I had no intention of writing a series because frankly, I’m trying to write a Bible study, but The Content Wife post caused some emails from women, more questions, more concerns, more nodding of the head in agreement, etc. So all this got me to thinking about several other wives to write about.
Now if you’ve read my book, then you know their are 25 real wives that I covered; some good, so bad, and some doing things that were down-right ugly.
But this series will be a bit different from the book because the wives in this series will not be wives from the Bible. The wives I’m discussing in this series might be one of my own stories or a reader’s story. But either way, we’re all real. We’re all relatable. And what I’m hoping to bring to you in this series is what the Word of God says so we can apply it to our own lives.
Now what I’d love to do is give you a sneak peek at some of the wives I’m going to write on. I have some ideas, but I’m going to restrain myself from sharing them with you for two very good reasons.
1) I think surprises are kinda fun!
2) Because I want to go where God leads me. I want to write what the Holy Spirit is prompting me to write, not what I think I should write. So this means we’ll both have to wait!
Just a reminder, my comments are turned off (and for good reason, thank you very much!)
If you’d like to continue the conversation or maybe you’d like to see me write on a particular wife, feel free to chime in on my Facebook page.
